SPRING CLEAN – ESTATE CLEAN-UP – 27th of April 10:30am
This year is the 15th Anniversary of An Taisce’s National Spring Clean and Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council is encouraging everyone to take part.
Marley Grange Residents Association has registered to take part in the weekend of 27th-28th April. There will be an Estate Spring Clean on Saturday 27th April which will last two hours (10:30am – 12:30pm).
Those taking part will assemble at the top of the Estate beside the Post Box where Litter pickers, gloves and special Blue Council waste bags will be supplied.
We want to encourage as many residents as possible to partake on the day. Although Marley Grange Estate took 1st prize in our category in the Tidy Districts for the past 2 years, we lost vital points due to a perceived lack of Community Involvement by the Competition Adjudicators. So please turn up, with brush and shovel in hand, at the entrance to the estate, on Sat 27th April
If you cannot make it on the day, you can also partake in National Spring Clean Up by focusing on your own house front as follows
1. Mowing and edge trimming of footpath grass margins.
2. Hedge cutting including removal of dead leaves from under hedges.
3. Getting together with neighbours to assist elderly neighbours who are unable to do this themselves.
So put it in your diary Sat 27th April at 10.30.
Hi All
Congratulations on the new website. It looks great. Really well laid out and easy to read. What a great start to your new committee.
I just wanted to let you know that I will be out of the country on 27th April so will not be available to assist in the Spring Clean Up. Best of luck with it and I hope you do get some assistance.
Kind regards
Denise (ex committee)
